Indian Filmmaker Rishabh Shetty Clinches Special Jury Award for ‘Kantara’ at IFFI 54
In a momentous recognition of cinematic brilliance, celebrated Indian film director, actor, and writer Rishabh Shetty has been honored with the Special Jury Award at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) for his exceptional contribution to the film ‘Kantara.’
The grand unveiling of the ‘Kantara Chapter-1’ first look trailer at the festival’s closing ceremony was met with thunderous applause, underscoring the film’s profound impact on the audience. Expressing his gratitude, Rishabh Shetty humbly stated, “I am humbled by the love and respect showered on me at such a prestigious platform.”
Shetty, known for his distinctive filmmaking philosophy, remarked, “I believe that my films are allowed to speak for themselves; the less said, the more successful.” His dedication to craft and humility shines through, as ‘Kantara’ continues to resonate with audiences.
Addressing the global expansion of Indian cinema, Shetty emphasized, “Indian cinema is truly global.
