Minister Ajay Bhatt Commends C-DOT’s Cutting-Edge Telecom Solutions and Security Innovations During Recent Visit
In a recent visit to the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) Delhi Campus, Minister of State for Defence & Tourism, Shri Ajay Bhatt, lauded the groundbreaking telecom advancements and security solutions developed indigenously by C-DOT. Recognizing the center’s crucial role in the realms of Defence communications and Cyber Security, the Minister engaged with various telecom products and technologies during his visit.
During the visit, Minister Ajay Bhatt participated in a tree plantation ceremony and received a comprehensive presentation from CEO Dr Rajkumar Upadhyay, outlining C-DOT’s diverse Telecom product portfolio. The presentation covered key telecom security solutions, including real-time detection of malware, enterprise-level threat detection and mitigation, Quantum Key Distribution, and Post Quantum Cryptography.
C-DOT showcased a range of solutions, from indigenously developed 4G and 5G cores to disaster management using CAP, optical transport and access solutions, switching and routing solutions, and more. Live demonstrations included Video Conferencing (VC) solutions, Samvad messaging and Cell Platform, Disaster Management CAP, Enterprise Security Operation Centre (ESOC), and Quantum Key Distribution.
In an address to C-DOTians and employees, Minister Ajay Bhatt emphasized the crucial role of telecom in Defence, highlighting potential collaborations between C-DOT and the Indian Defence forces. He expressed his vision for C-DOT to contribute significantly to defence indigenization, transforming telecom and cybersecurity in the defence sector.
