The Ministry of Minority Affairs Advances Infrastructure Development in Karnataka

In alignment with the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat-Samridh Bharat’ advocated by the Honorable Prime Minister, the Ministry of Minority Affairs has taken a significant step forward in infrastructure development within Karnataka. An allocation of Rs. 127.23 Crore has been sanctioned for the enhancement of educational infrastructure across 12 institutes in the state. These institutes are poised to benefit 4200 students, with 3150 of them belonging to minority communities.

The approved facilities in Karnataka signify a concerted effort to promote education and ensure the availability of essential educational infrastructure. Such initiatives are crucial in fostering a conducive environment that fosters intellectual growth among students.

Recognizing the importance of inclusive and comprehensive infrastructure, the educational facilities have been designated as community assets. This designation serves as a crucial bridge towards national development goals and aligns with the objectives outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This development underscores the Ministry of Minority Affairs’ unwavering commitment to Vision 2047 for a developed India.
