Fifth Batch of Tamil Delegates Arrives in Kashi for Kasi Tamil Sangamam II
Varanasi, 25 Dec 2023: Today, the fifth group of Tamil delegates, including farmers and artisans, known as the Narmada batch, arrived in Kashi to partake in Kashi Tamil Sangamam Phase II. The delegates were warmly welcomed at the railway station. During their visit to the city, the group is scheduled to explore Prayagraj and Ayodhya, in addition to visiting prominent sites in Kashi, such as Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Kaal Bhairav Temple, Sarnath, Hanuman Ghat, and the Ganga Aarti.
Kashi Tamil Sangamam Phase II, spanning from today till 30th December 2023, follows the success of the first phase held from 16th November to 16th December 2022. Anticipating the participation of approximately 1400 individuals from different parts of Tamil Nadu, organized into seven groups of 200 persons each, the event gathers people from diverse backgrounds. The five batches arriving in Varanasi include students, teachers, professionals, spiritual individuals, and farmers and artisans.
