Celebrating Extraordinary Talents: “Divya Kala Shakti” Showcases the Artistic Brilliance of Divyang Individuals
In a grand display of inclusivity and artistic brilliance, the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, through its Composite Regional Centre in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, hosted the spectacular cultural program, “Divya Kala Shakti,” at the prestigious Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Auditorium in Ahmedabad.
This unique event, orchestrated by one of the central composite regional centers, brought to light the hidden talents of Divyang individuals, unveiling a world of creativity that left the audience spellbound. Drawing participants from Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu, the event showcased the exceptional abilities of 100 Divyang individuals who took center stage in captivating performances.
From soul-stirring group dances to mesmerizing solo acts, melodious group songs to enchanting solo renditions, and awe-inspiring special art displays – “Divya Kala Shakti” served as a testament to the remarkable capabilities of the participants.
Distinguished guests, including Shri A. Narayanasamy, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment (State), Government of India, and Shri Hasmukh Bhai Somabhai Patel, former Member of Parliament, Ahmedabad, graced the occasion, underscoring the importance of empowering individuals with diverse abilities.
The highlight of the evening was the felicitation ceremony, where participants were presented with cheques totaling ₹300,000 as a token of recognition for their exceptional talents. This gesture not only applauded their artistic achievements but also emphasized the significance of nurturing an inclusive society that celebrates diversity.
