Prime Minister Modi Applauds as Mera Yuva Bharat Portal Registrations Surge Past 35 Lakhs
New Delhi, 27 DEC 2023 – The Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) portal has witnessed an overwhelming response, with youth registrations surpassing an impressive 35 Lakhs as of December 26, 2023. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, addressing the nation during Veera Baal Diwas, urged the young sons and daughters of the country to actively participate in this transformative platform.
In his impassioned address, PM Modi spoke of the nationwide campaign aimed at aligning the youth with the dreams and resolutions of Viksit Bharat. Encouraging every youth to join the MY Bharat portal, he emphasized that it has evolved into a significant institution for the country’s young populace.
Reflecting on the recent international successes of Indian athletes, the Prime Minister highlighted their middle-class rural background. He attributed their achievements to the Khelo India campaign, which not only provides enhanced sports and training facilities in proximity to their homes but also ensures a transparent selection process. PM Modi underscored that such initiatives are a testament to the government’s commitment to prioritizing the welfare of the youth.
The MY Bharat portal (https://www.mybharat.gov.in/) offers a platform for youth across the nation to register and explore various opportunities and events. It serves as a dynamic interface for young individuals to engage in a wide array of activities that contribute to their personal and professional development.
Launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on October 31st, 2023, at Kartavya Path, New Delhi, Mera Yuva Bharat is envisioned as a technology-driven facilitator for youth development and youth-led progress. The platform, designed as a ‘Phygital Platform’ (physical + digital), integrates physical activities with digital connectivity, providing equitable opportunities to empower youth in realizing their aspirations and contributing to the creation of a developed India—Viksit Bharat.
